Evernote has rolled out software updates to their applications this week and released a post on their blog due to suspicious activity on their network. Based from their investigation, there is no evidence that information stored in Evernote was accessed, changed or lost. There was also no evidence that payment information was compromised. However, based from the same blog, the individual(s) responsible for snooping around Evernote's network were able to gain access to Evernote user information, which includes usernames, email addresses associated to Evernote accounts and encrypted passwords. There has been a lot of security breaches the past few months which include high profile companies like Apple, Facebook and Microsoft. I have been a user of Evernote and their services and I immediately changed my credentials after learning of this. You can read more about Evernote's security notice by checking out their post below.
